Depth-Oriented Therapy for Meaning, Identity, and Emotional Integration
Life rarely becomes difficult all at once. More often, it unfolds as a gradual loss of clarity — a quiet sense that something essential has been misplaced. You may appear successful, capable, and self-aware on the outside, yet internally feel restless, disconnected, or burdened by patterns you cannot seem to change.
I specialize in working with individuals who are not simply seeking symptom relief, but a deeper understanding of themselves. Many of my clients are thoughtful, driven, and introspective people navigating anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, career transitions, or questions about purpose and identity. They often come to therapy after realizing that insight alone has not been enough to create meaningful change.
My approach is depth-oriented and grounded in existential and personality psychology. Together, we explore the emotional, relational, and developmental forces shaping your life today. This work is not about quick fixes or surface-level solutions. It is about understanding the deeper narratives that influence how you see yourself, how you relate to others, and how you move through the world.
In our work, you can expect a thoughtful balance of reflection, challenge, and support. Therapy becomes a space to face difficult emotions honestly, examine long-standing patterns, and develop greater psychological strength and clarity. Rather than avoiding pain, we learn how to engage it in a way that fosters growth, resilience, and self-respect.
I often help clients:
break recurring emotional or relationship patterns
navigate major life transitions or identity shifts
develop stronger self-trust and emotional regulation
integrate past experiences that still influence present decisions
build a clearer sense of direction and purpose
move from insight into meaningful action
This process is collaborative and deeply personal. My role is not to tell you who to become, but to help you discover what is already emerging within you — and to support you in developing the courage and psychological flexibility needed to live more fully.
If you find yourself at a crossroads, questioning old assumptions, or sensing that life is asking more of you, therapy can become a powerful turning point. Meaningful change rarely happens by accident. It happens when we are willing to examine ourselves honestly and take responsibility for the direction of our lives.
If you feel ready for that kind of work, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
I have written a book entitled “Song of the Hero”.
This project started in June 2018 and was published in 2023.
Song of the Hero is an exploratory analysis for how men, who are in long-term relationships, have stalled in their growth and relationships, what they can do to correct themselves, and how to transcend a diminished version of themselves all through the challenges presented by their feminine partner. The concepts and theories explored in the book are viewed through the lenses of analytical and evolutionary psychology, biology, neuroscience, and behavioral economics, with an undertone of mythology. To illuminate the rather technical analysis of the concepts and theories, I have interwoven a fictional story of a couple’s relationship. Using relatable experiences to illustrate the ideas in the book helps bring them to a manageable level on which the reader can easily translate them into implementable strategies in their personal lives.
