Hi, my name is Megan Panzanella. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in North Carolina. I have worked in a variety of settings including outpatient practices, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient therapy. I have experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, negative body image, chronic illness, anxiety, trauma, and depression. I also have worked with athletes and those who are adjusting to life changes and transitions.
My approach to healing is eclectic and adaptable. I tailor each session to best fit your specific needs and treatment goals by using an assortment of therapeutic approaches. Together we will develop effective tools and skills that facilitate your growth and healing. No matter where you are, I am fully committed to sitting in the deepest depths and valleys with you to help you discover the path back home to your authentic self.
We all go through seasons of life that may leave scars and have us question our worth. I am here to support you as we process and unpack all that you are going through. I am also here to walk alongside you on your journey of healing and help you realize that you have the power within you to overcome. Know that wherever you are on your journey and all that you carry is welcome here. Your voice deserves to be heard, your story matters, and you are so worthy of living a life you love. You don’t have to do it all alone because truthfully, you were never meant to.
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” -Brené Brown
