Lauren Deasy Blackshaw, LCMHC-A (Matthews)

Supporting People while they Realize their Potential

My name is Lauren Blackshaw. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) that enjoys helping people grow and find meaning in their lives. My approach incorporates cognitive behavioral techniques and is individualized and tailored to your personal and professional goals.

I have over 7 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. I have done play therapy with children, and I have also worked with women providing support through life transitions. I spent the last few years specializing in work with older adults, individuals with dementia, and their care partners.

As a therapist, I aim to be authentic, accepting, and honest. I want to collaborate with you because I believe you are the expert on your life. If you are feeling “stuck” or want to gain insight, confidence, and make positive change in your life, contact me to schedule a session. I look forward to getting to know you.
